WhatsApp Tests New Widget for Faster Access to Meta AI

WhatsApp is testing a new widget on Android to enhance quick access to Meta AI. This feature was discovered by WABetaInfo in the beta version 2.25.6.14 of the app.

The widget includes three main shortcuts: one for opening a chat with Meta AI, another for quickly sharing images, and a third for voice interactions with the AI assistant. Users can also resize the widget to fit their home screen preferences.

Currently, the WhatsApp AI widget is available only to beta testers using the latest Android version. However, due to Meta AI’s limited availability, some users—especially in regions where the feature has not yet been rolled out—may not see the widget.
