Honor has officially launched its latest gaming smartphone, the Honor GT, designed to compete with popular gaming phone series like Asus ROG and RedMagic. This device aims to deliver high-end gaming performance at a relatively affordable price point.
The Honor GT is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor from Qualcomm, positioning it alongside devices like the RedMagic 9 Pro and ROG Phone 8, instead of the newer Snapdragon 8 Elite models. Its competitive pricing, however, sets it apart in the gaming smartphone market.
The phone features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of FHD+, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an impressive peak brightness of 4000 nits for HDR content. The screen also supports PWM dimming at 3840Hz, ensuring reduced eye strain during extended gaming sessions.

Battery and Performance
The Honor GT packs a 5300mAh battery with 100W fast charging to keep gamers powered during long sessions. It also includes an advanced cooling system with graphite layers to efficiently dissipate heat.
Camera Features
The smartphone offers a 50MP main rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 16MP front-facing camera, and a 12MP ultra-wide lens to meet various photography needs.
Storage and Availability
The Honor GT is available in three colors: white, black, and green. It comes with 12GB or 16GB of RAM and storage options ranging from 256GB to 1TB. The device runs on MagicOS 9.0, based on Android 15.
For now, the Honor GT is available for pre-order in China through the official Honor website, starting at $300 and going up to $450 depending on configuration. There’s no word yet on its global release date.
